This notice explains how personal data of visitors to www.derenkimya.com.tr and of people who submit a quotation/order request through the website are processed, under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK").

2. Personal data we process
- Quotation / order form: name and surname, e-mail, phone, company name, product of interest, quantity, your message.
- Visiting the website: IP address, browser/device information, access time and requested page (server logs; security question and rate limiting on the form to prevent abuse).
- Only if you accept analytics cookies: Google Analytics cookie ID, pages visited, clicks (WhatsApp, phone, e-mail, form submission), approximate location (country/city), device type — see the Cookie Policy.
We do not ask for special categories of personal data (health, religion, etc.); please do not enter such data in the message field.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Assessing and answering your quotation or order request and running the sales process — necessary for entering into a contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c) and our legitimate interest (Art. 5/2-f).
- Information security, preventing misuse of the website and forms, detecting errors — legitimate interest (Art. 5/2-f) and legal obligations (Art. 5/2-ç).
- Requests of competent authorities and statutory obligations — Art. 5/2-a and 5/2-ç.
- Measuring and improving website use (Google Analytics) — only with your explicit consent (Art. 5/1), which you can withdraw at any time via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
4. Recipients and international transfers
Our hosting and database providers (OVH SAS and Supabase, with servers in Frankfurt, Germany), e-mail service providers and — if you consent — Google (Google Analytics); our group companies and business partners to the extent needed to supply the product or service you asked about; and competent public authorities where required by law. As our servers are located abroad, your data is transferred outside Türkiye in accordance with Article 9 of KVKK.
5. Retention
Quotation and order requests are kept for the duration of the business relationship and the retention and limitation periods under the Turkish Commercial Code and tax legislation, then deleted, destroyed or anonymised. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security.
6. Your rights
Under Article 11 of KVKK you may ask whether your data is processed and request information about it, learn the purpose of processing, know the third parties it is transferred to in Türkiye or abroad, request correction, deletion or destruction, request that these actions be notified to recipients, object to a result against you arising solely from automated processing, and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing. Visitors from the EEA also have the rights granted by the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
7. How to apply
Send your request with information identifying you, in writing and signed, to our address above, or with a secure electronic signature, or from an e-mail address previously registered with us to info@derenkimya.com.tr. We respond free of charge within 30 days at the latest.
