• Spa pools and whirlpools
• Geothermal water systems, thermal baths
Water treatment is a physical and chemical process in which raw water from the source is converted into desired quality process water to be used in heating and cooling systems and various stages of production so that it does not contribute any corrosion, scaling and biofouling problems.
If industrial process water is not treated then;
• equipment service life is shortened
• equipment efficiency becomes lower
• energy and water consumption increase
Efficient and continuous water treatment program implementation is not only a necessity. Today, because of high energy costs and water scarcity it became very significant for industrial plants.

WHAT DOES DEREN CHEMICALS DO?
Deren Chemicals manufactures water treatment chemicals in its own plant. It runs proper water treatment program with these chemicals. It provides after sale technical services, laboratory and reporting services
Stages of a project...
HOW DOES DEREN CHEMICALS SERVE?
• Deren Chemicals technical service engineer visits customer plant.
• The engineer defines a scope and identifies which water systems will be treated.
• If there is an existing water treatment program, it is reviewed and deficiencies ,if there is, are found.
• If there is no water treatment application in the system, technical team make comprehensive assessment. They collect samples from all relevant points and the samples are analysed in Deren Chemicals chemistry and microbiology laboratories.
• According to analytical results, they prepare a report defining preventive and remedial actions regarding to scaling, corrosion and biofouling problems.
Severe scale formation in a non-treated system
Severe corrosion in a non-treated system.
Updates
• Water treatment consultant engineer visits customer plants regularly throughout water treatment program and collects water samples
• Chemical dosage amounts are reviewed and improvements are identified.
• If necessary, dosage amount and chemical type change is recommended.
• If the system needs immediate cleaning and disinfection ,the customer is informed. Corrective actions include blowdown and fresh water feed recommendations. If there is an insisting problem, the reason is found out.
Deren Chemicals technical experts investigate the system thoroughly and then inform customers about all problems and possible reasons . To be able to accomplish most effective water treatment programme, they make recommendations.
